Girl, don’t be cheap with the gravy. Them taters is nekkid and we can’t be having that. ❤❤❤
Looks superb 👍🏼 Canola oil is also called rapeseed oil.
Thanks now my mouth is watering!!! That looks so delicious I’m definitely making this recipe!!!!

Very delicious but I definitely should've tenderized my meat😩 am I the only one who had this problem lol??
I ❤ Country Fried Steak! I will be trying to make this tonight. Cubed steaks are marinating as we speak. I’ll let you know how it turns out! #ALgal
omfg i just made this and it was soooo good! best chicken fry i’ve ever made by far!
Does the meat have to be tenderized or did the marinate do the trick?
Just happened across your channel and LOVED your video. I've made Chicken/Country Fried steak for years but YOUR personality throughout the video was MAGNETIC. I love a Sistah who is comfortable enough to just be herself and talk to me on a personal basis. I felt like I was sitting in your kitchen and you were talking to ME! GREAT Job!
Call Fran you did good I am from Biloxi Mississippi. You had my mouthwatering and you did it right wow !!
For sure a plate of love ❤️ comfort food 101
Delicious! It's on the menu tonight!
Yes, ma'am! With mashed potatoes! ❤
Buttermilk and hot sauce! Yes, ma’am! That’s how you do it up right and proper!
Ya'all Southern women can cook……..thank you for your video
Nice
Cooking this nowww! I’ll let y’all know how it comes out!
EDIT: okay soooo… lol I did something wrong to where the flour seemed to lift off the meat a little. However it came out perfect!! I did not have season salt so I did what I had to do. It still came out tasting great. It’s a perfection in the works for me. I hope to try again and get better at it. Thank you for this easy recipe.
I had to use gravy from a pouch. 😂 I was running low on time and limited pans. Hope to try ur gravy recipe soon.
I use nutmeg. But this looks delicious
I just tried your recipe this evening. Can’t wait for the results. I love your style of cooking!
Looks good I’m gonna try it ❤
I've been making this chicken fried steak since I was 10 years ol… easy peasy
I know what I'm having for dinner tonight
Official food of Oklahoma! I’m born and raised. And you did it proud! Dang that looks good!
What’s the cream called for the gravy?
If you don’t have buttermilk:
1 cup milk
+1 T white vinegar
I would change NUTHIN' on alla this! Except maybe a little thyme in the gravy, but it don't hafta be. Maybe pound a little flour into the steaks too first thing, but that ain't strictly necessary either. This is the exact real thing.
