  1. I am very interested in the manufacture of your wall stove….have been looking for the same type wall stove for sometime. Can you please tell me the the manufacturer name and model number. Thank you…Really like your your cooking show. My Grandmother was from Inverness and some day I hope to return to Scotland…. Thank you in advance, Sean Carrington, Seward Alaska, USA

  2. I made this tonight, and it’s probably the best stew I’ve ever had. I was a little unsure about the addition of the cranberry sauce, but it was amazing!! This will definitely be something I cook monthly. Don’t skip the fresh thyme sprinkled on top, it really ties it all together.

  3. I made this tonight. Wowowowow! i followed directions to the T, came out perfect. So delicious and comforting, my family ate it up like it crack. Sooooo good. i served it on top of your mashed potato recipe.

  4. Your going to love this my husband and I r living in Ireland he has beef featured on tv for his irish beef stew I'm making him this thanks

  5. Just made this. Absolutely delicious! Followed the recipe to the letter except I had no Worcestershire sauce (rookie error) so used marmite instead. Worked just fine.

  6. Making this right now! The sauce is amazing! We have 2 more hours to go before we can enjoy! Thank you for sharing!

  7. I follow you and I can’t believe I’ve only just seen this recipe. I had visitors the day after I made it. Omg it was amazing. Some nice touches in that. They couldn’t get over how luscious it was and said it was the best they’d ever tasted. I noticed reading some of the comments that some say it’s not Scottish. It’s a recognised fact that there are as many “original” recipes in all the counties, as well as England, Wales and Scotland as there are families and grannies. And tempers can flare over the different methods, ingredients and even names of dishes. It’s your dish. It’s delicious. Keep up the good work. That is one amazing Scottish Welsh English stews. Well done

  8. Best beef Stew ever ,we put bacon lardons in with the beef at the start and also add mushrooms and dumplings of cause. Great recipe absolutely love it , thanks for sharing ✌️

  9. Solid recipe (and great video). I recommend cooking half the meat at a time so that the pan is not crowded and it browns the meat nicely. It only takes an extra 8 minutes or so, but it's worth it.

  10. Steam the beef, steam the veggies, add to 500ml gravy mix , simmer on hob 1 hour, add dumplings cook for further 1/2 hour, finally add 250ml pepper gravy, simmer for another 5-10 minutes jobs a good un 👍

  11. Sorry,,,cant even look at this,,you used the word Scottish,,,have nuttin to do with them,,,they are the devils spawn,,,they gave us bagpipes and that freak Sturgeon,,,, byeee,,,great hair on ye,,,unlike the freak sturgeon

  12. I've made this three times now. My partner and I love it! I've tried many of your recipes now. They always turn out great! I'm a big fan. You make cooking fun and easy!

  13. Just found you and subscribed! I do have a couple of questions. I’m hoping the wine is a dry wine and not a sweet wine. I just popped my dish in the oven and tried a little taste. Is it supposed to be a little sweet and sour? Love the taste but just nervous I did it right.

  14. I love the Girl, yes good on you because stew originally was Japanese but the recipe was giving to Scotland as a gift no idea why but interesting I thought 😊

  15. My mother used to use red lentils in her stew in place of flour and she’d cook it and let it sit overnight and finish it the next day. I wish I knew exactly how to recreate that it’s sooooo good in the winter
