Why bread it? We just clean, cut, drizzle wirh EVOO, air fry, done. Super crispy without goop covering up its flavor.

I do it simple. I fry it in a Fry Daddy. Mix it up with about 85% cornmeal and 15% flour. And that’s it. But, I’m going to definitely try that whole version. They are crunchy and delicious. And since they’re not breaded, you taste all the okra goodness. Been cooking it this way for decades. And it’s not overly greasy. At all.

I saw a fried chicken recipe on Southern Living that calls for preparing your chicken and starting to fry it in a skillet, then transferring it to a cookie sheet and finishing it in the oven. Can you do the same thing with okra?
There's no such thing as air frying.
