Ingredients

8 Eggs
2 Leaves of Scallion
1 tbsp Dill
1 Celery Stock
2 Slices Bacon
¼ cup Toasted Pecans
½ cup Mayonnaise
1 tsp Dijon Mustard
2-3 drops of Lemon Juice
Salt and Pepper to Taste

Method

In a pot, add one inch of water and on a high flame bring the water to a boil. Now lower the heat to medium low and insert a steamer into the pot

Add 8 eggs into the steamer. Cover the pot with a lid and allow the eggs to steam for 13 minutes. Take the eggs off the steamer and immerse then in an ice water bath for 15 minutes. Watch how perfectly the eggs shell every time.

Cut the eggs into small chunks and add it to a bowl.

Finely chop the scallion, dill, celery, bacon, and pecans and add it to the bowl with the eggs.

In another bowl mix the mayonnaise, dijon mustard and lemon juice and give it a good mix.

Add the salad dressing to the bowl with the eggs and other ingredients. Season with pepper and taste before adding salt.

Give the salad a gentle mix to make sure that all the ingredients get well incorporated and coated with the dressing.

Enjoy!

  2. Wendy – You’re Amazing. You are always so cheerful and you present your recipes consistently with great enthusiasm. I always hit the “Save” button so that I can watch them at least 4 or 5 times to make sure I get all the ingredients written down and also pay close attention to the “Timings” of each step. I thank God for you because you make cooking FUN…
