It can be found in Franconian city of Nuremberg. Wisconsin is the home of the beer brat and is a regional favorite there. Johnsonville foods which started in 1945 Johnsonville, Wisconsin manufactures and sells amazing Bratwurst. Every year during Memorial day weekend, Wisconsin hist the Brat fest which is said to be world’s largest bratwurst festival. These are so good i try to make them once a week! Your Brat sandwich looks great, Chris you always come up some of the best sandwiches. Beer and sauerkraut makes this recipe happen
good stuff Chris! I eat my the same way with mustard only. everything tastes better in a cast iron skillet!
how much were your German shepherds I'm trying to bye one
Dude…. you need spicy mustard. What is that French's shit?
Looking for a easy recipe to use bratsi bought yesterday. I've got red sauerkraut, you think that will work? Will do this weekend! Thanks!
Gotta throw some onions in that skillet as well!! That will take it over the top !! Oh yea spicy brown mustard too !! Lol! Tasty though! Just my preference.
does the acidity of the sauerkraut or beer affect the seasoning of your pan?
Yellow mustard??? Wtf?
Nice, no BS, straight up good cooking
Looks Great, going to try that tomorrow.
This is so weird I did the same thing but I didn't put butter or beer in it and it was really good
great video man made my father proud with your tips
OH YEAH!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Used the same steps minus the sauerkraut and it’s was delicious.
Pronounced Brots, broughts.
Just made this in my cast iron skillet the exact way and my family loves this. I will make this again. Thanks!
I have Sauerkraut and beer in the fridge, I won a free package of buns from Safeway's monopoly, and Brats are on sale at work. I'm making these tomorrow for lunch since it's supposed to pour rain all afternoon and I'm off work.
Ok I’m looking for recipes for bratwurst and sauerkraut and this guy says throw in some sauerkraut… HOW DO MAKE THE SAUERKRAUT?
I eagerly await the snide comments, which I won’t see.
I just cooked these last night exactly the way you did they were awesome Thank you so much
Gotta love the sound/feel/taste when you bite through the casing of a perfectly cooked brat!
I like this one! Nice and simple! Cheers!
Solid recipe. I would add some caraway to the kraut tho. Otherwise delicious.
"These ones" Only made it as far as 3rd grade, huh….?
Thanks for the video. Makes sense. Have you ever chopped up the brats?
“BRAHTS”….Not brats….those are little and snotty!
Missing the deli brown mustard ( with seeds ) and grilled onions. And a pickle on the side for good measure
Lost me at that regular yellow mustard
Yuengling good choice of beer
No such thing as a bad brat
Thank you for this video! My brats turned out perfect 👌 and I had fun doing this 😊
Where are the caramelized onions in the kraut.?
simple and perfect
Im going to do this but with beef broth instead of beer, i dont have beer lol. thanks for the tips man.
I know this is a 5 year old video but I’m making them right now and it smells amazing
Saw some Johnsonville Brats on sale and decided to give it a try. Bought some Saurkraut and some onions and beer at home and made a delicious dinner and leftovers for lunch the next day for $7
I can't believe he salted his sour kraut. Sour kraut is literally made with salt, a LOT of salt there is no need to add more salt. That's just crazy. I can't believe how many people cook their brats in butter when the brats have so much fat inside of them. I guess if you like greasy super salty food?
I going to … GO AHEAD and give this one a try!
These look great.
