  1. Do you folks just have seltzer on hand ? I've never had seltzer on hand in my home. Does that make me weird?

  2. Oh such good food and thanks for the recipe for the egg cream. I enjoyed seeing the old fashioned shop

  3. That was such a cool restaurant. My oldest daughter who is in her early 20’s loves everything vintage. I will have to show her this video. Thanks for sharing. Take care!!

  4. This is so nice,I remember when I had my first egg cream,it was a place in Philadelphia, this restaurant your visiting is very nice, love you Grandma and Grandpa and the Kittys❤

  5. Late to the party here! Loved and appreciated this video Grandma and Grandpa! And I love you both too! Keep those videos coming for us please💗💗💗

  6. I'm going to try that. I've read about egg creams in books set in NY, but growing up in California I never saw one in real life, even though my home town had both an old fashioned ice cream parlor and a lunch counter in the five and dime.

  7. Thanks for the tour, Grandma! Looks like yummy food! I was hoping the food wasnt 100 years old! 🤭😛 I was getting the rotten eggs ready to throw at the storefront like we used in the drive-bys for the pizza shops! Then I realized if they are 100 years old then they would have their own rotten eggs! 😂😂😂

Oh and tell Grandpa SMOOOTH MOOOVE on the egg cream drink! Lol lol

Seriously, never heard of an egg cream. Thank you both for enlightening some of is and showing us how to make it!! 😀

BTW, I'm glad no eggs needed coz we used all the eggs for the pizza joints that served horrible pizza!

Much love to both of you! 👍🏻👍🏻

  8. Loved your video. Munday's looks like a place where people talk to eachother, not some corporate food chain common today. Thanks for the memories of the egg creams we used to make!

  9. My mom had the same drinking glasses! When I was a little kid, it was very exciting when my grandma would make egg creams for us. Always made with Fox’s U-bet chocolate syrup.

  10. What a cute restaurant!! I would love to visit it someday. I have never heard of egg cream drink before. Thanks for sharing how to make them!

  11. Would you believe I'm 75 and never had an egg cream. After seeing your video, I'll have to buy the ingredients and make one. Thanks for the trip and the recipe. Stay well and safe,

  12. Thankyou for sharing! Just wondering how long have you both been married? Probably none of my business but you both are so perfect together!!

  13. Whoops, don't know what happened to the comment I left last night. Must have been a glitch, or I fell asleep without sending. So happy to see you visiting Munday's. That place has been there FOREVER — I remember my mom saying she'd been there (or one of it's predecessors) when she was young. I've never been (challenging parking/walking), but it's still on my bucket list. It's one of those places you never get to, because you know it will always be there. (On those rare occasions my significant other and I go out for breakfast, we usually go to TK's Galley — good parking, the price is right, and we get a glimpse of the harbor.) Now that I know Munday's has an olde timey fountain, and yummy-looking chicken pot pies, I'll have to make the effort one of these days to get there. Glad you all had another fun outing, Grandma, Grandpa, and LF!

  14. Egg cream looks great! This reminds me of my mom who worked at a Walgreens soda fountain in Hot Springs Arkansas in the early 1940's. Thankyou so much for sharing this. She had a lot of recipes from her time there.

  15. I haven't had an egg cream soda in forever! Now the debate is Fox's U bet vs Bosco syrup

  16. Root beer float for me, please! I love the atmosphere of that place! Al the orders look so good!! (Grandpa could make me a choco egg cream soda, too!) Yum!!

  17. For anyone who has never had a chocolate egg cream, you’re missing out on something very special! Thanks for this! ❤

  20. I've never had this before. Definitely will be trying this very soon since it looks so yummy. The cream reminds me of whipped egg whites.

  21. Wow! If I would’ve known this place existed, I would’ve went there but I left NYC five years ago but this place looks amazing 😊
