250 gram anchovy/nethili fish
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 and 1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 and 1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp fennel seed powder
1/4 tsp pepper
3/4 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp tamarind water or 2 tsp lemon juice
oil for shallow fry
