The Best Fried Cheese Ever!
1 tablespoon of butter
1/2 lemon
3-4 slices of halloumi cheese
Heat your frying pan until medium to hot. Add butter to the pan and allow to melt until bubbling, being careful to not get the butter to hot or it will burn.
Add the cheese and allow to fry on one side for 1-2 minutes. Squeeze with lemon and then flip the cheese.
Allow to fry on the opposite side for another minute or two and then squeeze with a bit more fresh lemon.
Serve immediately with bread, olives, through a salad or with your favourite cold cut meats.

Your Fried Haloumi Cheese looks amazing ! Thank you for sharing.
What is haloumi cheese ? Is there a cheese I can substitute for it??
why lemon?
Throw stuff in a pan!
Call it cooking!
Yay!
All you did was add lemon to it
Soak the halloumi in water overnight to remove brine or it's toooooooo salty
Can you do this with fresh mozzarella?
I prefer using Latin American "Queso para freir" because halloumi cheese is just way too salty
i tried this years ago it was incredibly salty i just dumped everything in the trash. halloumi is one of the top 3 saltiest cheeses out there
This was a free sample at ShopRite
What kind of cheese? What type oil? How high of heat? I couldn't hear you the music was so loud!
This is no exception. It seems like every cooking video has no words…. as if I'm supposed to be that tuned-in😔
Thank you for making this video so quick and simple
Since it says Healthy Kitchen here you should know that Cypriots and Greeks use olive oil, not butter. That's a healthy kitchen.
Nothing to learn here, just fry in butter and turn over.
Im not gonna lie… I forgot about watching ur vid, and danced around my kitchen to ur music instead🤣🤣gonna have to play it again!
annoying music
