This might not be an authentic Greek recipe, but it’s certainly inspired by Greek cuisine, and I really loved how this came out. This simple feta, spinach, and potato casserole would make for a great Easter holiday side dish option. Enjoy!

  1. just made this, i maybe used too much feta cuz it came out a bit acidic but it was delicious

  2. Wish I still saw you in the algorithm. Turn up the dB a little. I have to turn up my volume by 25% to hear you. It might have an effect on getting picked up more these days as everyone is louder.

  3. hey chef! I'm a big fan and was wandering if you ever tasted the Jewish food "matzah", a food that is traditional for the Passover holiday, there are many dishes using matzas and I would absolutely love seeing your take on some of them.

  4. Made this tonight! It’s weird, the spinach sauce was so vernally green my brain kept thinking it was a pesto, so much so that when I finally bit into it my brain went “Aiee! Where’s the basil? This was totally a bait-and-switch!” I mean, I actually like spinach, but…brains are dumb.

  5. Going to try this.. Here in Cyprus we make the most delicious Feta and spinach pies in pastry. Great combination!

  6. Making this for easter dinner, but thinking of adding some sundried tomato as well

  7. I like your recipes. I really, really like your recipes. But what I don't like is how they get printed out when I go to Allrecipes. Granted, some recipes are more complex than others, but for the more straightforward ones, is there any way possible for you to tell Allrecipes that those do NOT need to go on for more than one (1) page? This one is a case in point. Please? Either that or publish your own cookbook. For sure, I would buy a Chef John cookbook!

  8. I am extremely disappointed that phrase, "the last ingredient.. a secret ingredient… a quarter cup of…" was not followed up by the words, "cayenne pepper."

  9. Made this dish for Easter brunch and it was a major hit. The subtle taste of mint made a potato dish refreshing! Who would’ve ever thought! This recipe is a keeper.

  10. My oldest of 3 daughters is a vegetarian, I'm going to make this..I love all the ingre❤

  11. Is this something I can make a couple days ahead of time then reheat for a dinner?

  12. Made this with eggplant, which i roasted first for 20 mins, and it was really tasty. I bet it's even better with potatoes. Thank you!

  13. Delicious! I went with Thai basil instead of mint because that's what I had and it came out really tasty. I get plain, boiled potatoes from my Polish mother in law all the time, and now I've got something else to do with them. Thanks chef!

  14. I just made this…absolutely delicious! I added some cherry tomatoes. Next time I'll add some olives too. This is a keeper.
