  1. For anyone watching, @ 3:30 this is a very easy way to stab your hand with a very sharp knife. NEVER do this. Either scoop the whole avocado out and then dice it, or use a butter knife to dice it if you're going to be holding it in your hand.

Slicing an avocado is basically like slicing through room-temperature butter, you really don't want that knife to slip through that not-so-resilient avocado skin.

  2. There is ZERO heat/capsaicin in chili/pepper seeds. Taking them out achieves nothing. All the capsaicin sits in the placenta (the white part in the center) and the oils on the inside of skin.

  3. I literally drooled watching this. fajitas are my favorite, and those looked awesome!!

  4. Just a quick note: it has been proven over and over again that the only thing that is able to penetrate meat is salt. Anything else, due to the size of the molecules, stays at the surface of the meat (and burns during cooking). I'd rather only go for a good salt seasoning and add the "marinade" after the cooking.

  5. Listen, I just made these and am currently enjoying them. OMG! How am I just now finding out about chili infused oil?? Thanks for a delicious recipe!

  6. Hey Chef Tom, I've searched and searched and couldn't find any how-to's on making patty melts on your channel. There are many different ways of going about them, but would love to see how you would make a good ol' patty melt.

  7. Yeah, would love to do this one but sadly I can't get the ingredients over the ocean to Slovenia.

  8. Tom that was a great lesson, ran out and got the ingredients, making it tonight, couldn’t wait! Brother ,you need a tv show, but I’m very happy watching your magic on YouTube!!🇨🇦👍👍

  9. Your November calendar is here!

This month’s free offering is an invitation to GROUND.

November 2020 marks a special time, as this will be the 5 year anniversary of the YWA calendar.
5 years ago, community member, Sarah Bowman, compiled a playlist of foundation videos from the Yoga With Adriene channel, indicating the length of the video and creating a helpful structure in which to guide those who sought to get on the mat more regularly.

5 years later, Sarah is not only a dear friend of mine, but holds office as both Director Of Community, also known to many as our Kula mama, and she is also leading the FWFG Membership APP, a huge endeavor – especially this year as so many seek a safe, affordable, trustworthy, creative space to go deeper, find healing, and sweat it out.

But wait there is more! As community member, Elias Belsky, pointed out, November is special not only because of the 5 year anniversary but because it is also the first time when a calendar from the past fits the dates of the current month perfectly. November 2015 and November 2020 both start on Sunday.

So as an homage to the original Foundations Yoga Calendar and because we feel we all could use a bit of gentle daily grounding, this month, we celebrate with a new Root To Rise practice, and set our community intention to GROUND.

This year, there is no question that each month brings a new set of uncertainty and challenge. Allow this collection of practices to be the thing each day that serves to anchor you in your body and your breath so that you may continue to cultivate balance for optimal mental, emotional, and physical health.

It’s all free, no credit card required.
    I’ll meet you there.

  14. Chef Tom WOW! Great video and recipe! You have a very experienced shaking method and form. How did you establish this technique?
