I’ve been busy in the kitchen garden collecting culinary herbs and then in the kitchen I have been making things like herbed salt that included creeping lemon thyme, rosemary, and pearl onions for my roasted chicken recipe, my favorite pesto recipe, lemon verbena herb tea, and herb smudging sticks. I will also be using some of these herbs in the future to make herb butter recipes.

  1. Thank you so much for your videos. Your creativity sparked mine. Dried mint for tea, made pesto and going to try the herbed salt. They were all things I had been meaning to do but had been putting off. Thanks again!

  2. Love your videos, always so informative and relaxing. Thanks for sharing with us😁

  3. It's great to take cuttings of the lemon verbena and grow them over winter indoors. Then you will have plenty of plants in the spring.

  4. I loved watching this! 🤗 So relaxing and interesting. I can almost smell all the fresh scents. I bet it smells amazing! Thanks Linda! 💕🙌🏻🦋

  5. Hi Linda. I just stumbled upon your you tube channel and I'm so happy that I did. I love herbs and have some in my garden. I don't have lemon verbena but I have lots of mint. So you gave me an idea that I can make mint tea the same way! Thank you so much!

  6. What a treat to be able to run out to your shed and get a beautiful bunch of lavender – so pretty! Or those smudge sticks….You remind me of what a wise old woman would have been with your tinctures and salts. Maybe you are channeling your old crone ancestors from yesteryear….Lucky friends you must have. Hmmmm…What would I like to see next? Do you do any handwork? Maybe you could show us what you have in progress…Like you have the time, eh?. I do enjoy your consignment shopping…love to do that…but alas…my little place is filled to the brim. I know…one thing in…one thing out! I think your subbies live a little vicariously through you…. Anyhow…your calm voice is a treat in itself.

  7. Thank you, Linda for a very informative video. I plan to grow Lemon Verbena next year. I am looking forward to hearing how you liked your smudge sticks. Some health food stores sell them but what fun to make your own with fresh herbs from your garden. Love your drying shed. Jane

  8. What wonderful gift ideas! And I love the idea of making my own sage sticks. That settles it….next year I will have my own herb garden for sure. Thank you so much for this inspiring video.

  9. So beautiful Linda… I am subscribed but now seeing this. Sorry for the late response. I really like this. My question, do you have deer come around? how do you prevent it? Thank you.

  10. Totally enjoyable. I learned so much. Do you have a recipe on Pinterest for the herbed salt? Thank you!

  11. You are so inspirational. I absolutely love your style and joy for living a healthy and beautiful life there in New England. I'm in Yorktown, Virginia, and also have a love for gardening and everything that brings light and beauty into my family's lives. Thank you for your gifts and please continue to make these videos. They're wonderful.

  12. Love your herb garden ! Always wanted one set up like that! Enjoy ! Curious how the smudge sticks turn out ! I do use the sage one myself

  13. Friends, as long as we do not interfere with nature (when we cannot leave the house), I think we can be healthy if we return to nature likewise nature renews itself.
Especially in winter, I use sage not only as a spice but also as tea.
When I look at the history, this plant has been used in the treatment of many diseases.
As the Virgin Mary is mentioned in mythology.

If you search the internet for 'Benefits of sage
    you will be very surprised.
    I wish you all a healthy day….

  14. Linda, I have just recently come upon your videos. I am enjoying the house, the garden, all of your creative endeavours! Can't wait to see what's next, thank you from Cambridge, Ontario.

  15. Your content is amazing. It’s so relaxing. And really pretty. I just find it fun. I watch them over and over again. Thank you for making videos for us. ♥️♥️♥️

  16. Loved this video. I love making pesto with my fresh basil and freezing in ice cube trays

  17. You must try making Thai basil pesto as well. I make it exactly the same as using the sweet basil. The Thai basil gives a fennel type flavor and when spread on pizza dough it tastes like there is Italian sausage on it but there is no meat .

  18. I made a olive oil garlic and ty basil saute them then added angel hair pasta with some of the pasta water parmesan and lemon juice was amazing!
