Big fan of wires, currently have #4 and that design is terrible, flush water splashes everywhere and runs to the sides

  2. docere85

#2, I have mine plumbed into the sink drain

(A total aside: this thread screams for a poll–which should be allowed as an option in this subreddit . . . .)

4 – wires, easy to clean, looks fantastic.

VBM, so holes with slits for indicator.

  6. Wires, with the drip tray about a foot deep **AND** plumbed into the drain.

In fact, make my whole bar surface wires, just make sure the gaps are small enough that my scales sit perfectly level on it.

  7. Wires, no question about it. Easiest to clean, easy to see when the tray is full, no water splashing around, always looks great and coffee stains are practically invisible.

I have to go with slits with the drain holes #5 as you don’t get the splash when the cup pre warm / head clean does it’s thing

Wires, in every other design, the water can gather on the flat areas between holes. It’s annoying.

as a Silvia owner, i confirm that the absolute disrespeck for that tray is warranted
