I was first exposed to this heavenly concoction at The W hotel, when I ordered a little too much room service – blame it on the hangover. I decided to come home and put my own twist on it and came up with this. Enjoy! Let’s #makeithappen

Challah or Brioche bread
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
4 eggs
1/2 cup brown sugar
Pinch of nutmeg and salt
Splash of milk or cream
3-4 cups crushed cornflakes
Cinnamon sugar to taste

Bananas foster:
1/4 cup butter
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 shot of rum and 99 bananas
1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 bananas sliced
1/3 cup walnuts

    Bananas Foster is such an awesome dessert. I live in Southwest MS, had TO GO TO LA for Dr visit last week, it was 116 degrees when I made it to my car. This has been a horrible summer.

    This was made and the day after I made it I was making it again for dinner. The 99 bananas came in clutch and I'm not a drinker but it added a different taste element. Can't really find the bread you use where I live but did find some cinnamon brioche bread that was pretty darn good
