  3. How do you do it without a rice cooker!! Because I find a lot of people use a rice cooker but I don’t have one 🙂

  4. what does the soaking 30 mins process do? can i skip it? or is it important

  5. It has to be the Japanese short grain, otherwise it tastes like spoiledness and curdledness in old/not so fresh cottage cheese.

That and it has to be rice vinegar, which all btw are kosher as far as I know, so there’s no excuse for the wrong rice Aroma Grocery!

  6. Do not fallow this lady instructions on how to cook your rice. you will end with to much rice and to much water and at the end your rice is not good because it look like pudding.

To cook the rice is just like making regular rice. ( 1 cup of rice. 2 cups of water. 2 cups of rice. 4 cups of water.)

    Rinse the rice.

Use the right ratio of water. Add 2 parts water and 1 part rice to a large pot. …

Bring the water to a boil. Once it's boiling, add a big pinch of salt.

    Maintain a simmer. …

Cook without peeking or stirring. …

Let the rice rest covered. …

Fluff the rice with a fork.

  7. what is the purpose of the oke bowl? Can i use any mixing bowl instead? Kinda bought the tuna and i can't wait another week until the oke comes in the mail lol

  8. Hi, I did and its seems like the vinegar mix is not enough should I add more of the mix like do a 2nd batch

  9. Billion dollar insight to make Japanese branded multi-function cooker or rice cooker that can also cook sushi rice. The rice cooker pot non-stick lining is resistant to the vinegar mixture and doesn’t retain stain or odour. This will eliminate the step of transferring the rice out of the rice cooker pot into another vessel thus eliminating more things to wash?

  10. Can we use this for Kimbap as substitute for Korean rice? and bc i saw on some Kimbap making videos putting/using vinegar on Kimbap instead of sesame oil, pls answer me tnx ✌️
