One of our favorite spring/summer desserts! There are multiple variations of Strawberry Shortcake, but this one is simple and delicious. The perfect ending to a summer time dinner!

• 4 Cups of Strawberries, Sliced
• ½ Cup of Sugar
• 20 oz. Box of Bisquick
• 2 Tbsp of Vegetable Oil
• 2 Cups of Milk
• 1 Tbsp of Powder Sugar
• 3 Tbsp of Cool Whip

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
Slice your strawberries to your desired size. Place them in a bowl, add the sugar and mix until fully incorporated.
Set aside for at least 30 minutes.
In a mixing bowl add the box of Bisquick, vegetable oil and milk.
Use a mixer and blend until smooth. It should have a cake batter consistency.
Grease an 8.5 X 11 baking dish and add your batter.
Cook for 15 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick pulls clean.
Once the cake is done, remove to cool.
Once cooled, slice a 2” X 2” slice. Split the cake in half horizontally. Lay one slice on a plate, add a layer of strawberries and cool whip. Put the other slice of cake on top and repeat.
Sprinkle the powdered sugar on top and serve!

  1. Using Cool Whip for strawberry shortcakes is blasphemous😭…nothing better than fresh whipped cream.
