This rosé pasta (pink sauce pasta) recipe is one of my favorite pasta dishes. A great combination of pasta with tomato sauce and pasta with creamy sauce. That makes the best creamy tomato pasta dish. This pasta dish is made with fresh cherry tomatoes, cream, parmesan cheese and more amazing flavors. The best part of this pink sauce pasta that this dish is loved by children and adults alike and it’s pretty east to make.

Ingredients:
300g Pasta of your choice
2 tablespoons Olive oil
2 tablespoons Butter
1 Onion, chopped
3 Garlic cloves, crushed
1kg (35oz) Cherry tomatoes/regular tomatoes
1¼ cups (300ml) Cream
3-4 Basil leaves, Chopped
1/3 cup (30g) Parmesan cheese, grated
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Directions:
1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and sauté for 5-6 minutes, until lightly golden. Add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
2. Add halved cherry tomatoes or chopped regular tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 10 minutes over heat. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cook for 50 minutes, stirring occasionally, keep the lid on.
3. If the mixture is too thick, add 1/4 cup of water.
4. When the sauce is almost ready: fill a large pot with water and add 1 tablespoon of salt. Bring to a boil. When boiling add the pasta and cook to al dente according to package directions.
5. While pasta is cooking: To the sauce add cream, chopped basil, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Stir and cook for 3-4 minutes.
6. Add drain pasta to the sauce, turn the heat off and toss.
7. Serve!

  1. Amazing recipe! It’s my base, I do the same recipe and then add beef and it tastes just like bolognaise but so much better! Thank you <3

  2. Fake stuff. At serving, those tomato skins have suddenly disappeared. Having those in your dish breaks this, furthermore mediocre, recipe up.

  3. Oh my lord I just made this and it is UNREAL! I added Italian sausage and baby spinach to the recipe to bulk it up and it was divine 😊

  4. I know this is only a year old, but if you're paying high gas prices at the moment, and a gas hob is all you have, then I would suggest an electric slow cooker, where I'm from, it doesn't burn a lot of energy and you can leave it on and go about your day. Or you could always use canned tomato sauce. Depends on what you're after.

  5. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I just made it and it was easy to follow and the result is delicious! Also, I like the music on the video 😊❤

  6. I was horrified, she drained down all the pasta water ! Save Pasta water in a bowl and after mixing all ingredients, use a little pasta water. The starch in pasta water binds the ingredients or just liquidify if it's getting burnt.

  7. I just want to thank you for sharing this recipe. In my opinion it's the best rose pasta recipe out there. It's a hit with all of my family and friends. We love it!!!

  8. That’s not Pink Pasta I know pink pasta when I see it I’m a Pasta addict that my friend is a Arrabiata witch is basically like pink pasta but filled with onions and tomatoes and stuff it is not good….

  9. Anyone else want to blend the sauce prior to adding the cream/cheese and basil? I like a very homogenous mixture when it comes to pasta sauce… that’s how I make my “garden” tomato sauce… I cook all these chunky veggies and ultimately blend them!

  10. SOOO GOOD! if you like Alfredo but want something different this is perfect. So good. I used rommas instead of cherry and it came out great.
