The plate is over filled. Arranging the scallops shells in a more appropriately sized platter with a definitive color hue (white plates are great for dark or deeply hued food). The scallops are the main feature and are lost in the sauce, almost obscured by the “seasoning”, etc. Flavor profile is not one that works well with shellfish. Scallops are mild tasting and smothered with hatch chili sausage completely eliminates them.

Looks great but I’d use less shells and fill each with more scallop. Too many shells/over crowded imo

Looks good for a dish thats in the middle of a family table where everyone just grabs a shell of the plate.
Bad picture since you are trying to get feedback and it is highly edited.
For something at a restaurant i wouldn’t serve it like this. Looks like you took everything off a tray and just pilled it up on a dish.
But… it does look like it could be delicious. I love scallops and i love when they are served on the shell.
