many of these are fantastic but looking at that crudite makes me gag, I’m sure it tastes amazing but the veg looks haggard and unappetizing

Looks like chef Dan Barber’s stuff.

If I ignore the first one everything looks fantastic.

I really hope the first one was satire. The rest look good

These are exquisite. I’m particularly drawn to the eggplant and the tortellini. Such a deft use of contrast and color.

  6. It’s like you’re asking us to spot which one was done by a preschooler

    It was the first one

Wow the crab tortellinis are amazing! How did you make those???

Thanks for the inspiration. Might just steal the eggplant.

The first dish is just that smidgeon too rustic.

The only criticism I can qualify to give on such a heroic effort.

    I’m awed, sincerely.

First slide looks like demon baby veggies about to sacrifice that cheese to the cru-deities above

first plate could be a show stopper if your quenelle was perfect/ you smack a perfectly level painters shmear dead centre.

could be the photo/light but the black accent on the cappelletti is just a bit too tight for my preference when paired with your base on that plate. its like there’s too many surfaces or sections consistently throughout the dish and i think it’d be more appealing with some more subtle contrast, (the black v white is already dramatic enough imo).

beet and salmon dishes are gorgeous i think.

    toast is nice.

lollipop pic quality distracts me from the dish but it also looks lovely, although its very bland from a color palette perspective and kind of sits out from the rest. maybe a leek ash powder sifted over top, or something in that vein just to add one more layer.

i forget the last one and I’m on mobile, but i guess inevitably you have to accept that at least one course will be forgotten before the guest leaves. It’s how our brains work or whatever

nice job dude 🙂 as a weirdo myself, I love seeing weird stuff on this page.
