Happy with the amount of shallots, maybe too much sauce? What do you think ?

Very brown, needs more color
Edit: maybe add a pickle (more shallot?) And some herbs for color

so dark, it’s like a portal to the void.
Edit: wanting to be more constructive. Use something to separate the elements that have the same color. If you want to highlight shallots, you should pickle some to give a bright contrast. add color!

Beautiful! 10/10 would smash

Smaller portion, show more offset space (white of the plate), maybe a dollop of puree or polenta or small pile of shoestring fries, possibly a few single layers of halved shallots for more colour contrast

i would smash if it was served to me. But in culinary plating it would be a 2/10
one point for organizing the cuts, one point for putting the meat in a separate spot than the beans.

The lighting and filter used don’t help here. It looks like you chose one of the contrast filters with “Warm” in its name. It gives the shadows cast by the meat an unattractive yellowish hue.
The meat looks to be raw at the center, not rare. I know that some folks like that. I personally don’t like raw beef unless it’s in carpaccio form.
Way too much sauce. Those beans are literally swimming in it. The shallots are kind of lost in it.
Could use a bit of color, even a simple garnish would go a long way here. At the very least, some rice on the side so the dish doesn’t look dark overall. Bonus of rice being an excellent vehicle for getting some of that sauce off the plate and into your stomach.
The plate needs to go back on the shelf in grandma’s kitchen. 😜
That being said, I bet it was f***ing delicious. If the beef was a bit more done, I’d crush the whole plate.
EDIT: Punctuation.

Way too much sauce and way too much brown. I’m not really sure what the flavor is supposed to be. What is the sauce? Definitely work on the shallot cuts. They just seem sort of random. A mandolin is your friend… Until it’s not.

Échalote stew please, with a side of steak
Looks like Uruk-hai fine dining.
