Hello everyone. First-time poster and home cook. I’ve created a blackcurrant semifreddo with a layer of dark chocolate on top, accompanied by a hazelnut crumble infused with white chocolate. I wanted to experiment with presenting the dish differently, opting not to simply place the semifreddo on top of the crumble in the center of the plate, but rather to take advantage of the vibrant color of the blackcurrant. However, I fear I might have gone a bit overboard.

The sauce is a little much. It would look nice on Halloween, but other than that the dish looks very nice, I’d simply just try different methods for the sauce. Go on YouTube and look up different ways to plate a sauce and see how people do it then just practice different ways see what looks best to you, also use about half the amount.

Coat a spoon with current, flick at plate, turn 25 degrees, flick. Continue until you come back around then plate on that.

Mr plum in the kitchen with the knife. Wait this is a culinary plating and not a murder? I’d be it’s tasty though.

This would be great for a Halloween special. The plating is perfect for that. Looks like a bleeding eyeball.
