Is this not a French dish originally? I mean I know they make it in many countries. I often had it in Russia. Honestly I don’t know anything about Dutch cuisine. Aside from picked herring which I love.

I am sorry I always get confused about Holland. Is it Netherlands, Holland or Dutch? Or all of the above? I know it is the same country but the multiple names throw me off.

Also is the Dutch language pretty much a dialect of German? My uncle grew up in your country and he basically said that. He knows German, Dutch, French, Russian and English

Now that’s a portion size I can get behind. Most Crème brûlée we get around here are in tiny dishes that are barely worth a few spoon full.
