It's a sharing dessert for the couple. How can I improve on this? This is the only plate I have that's neutral enough for the occasion. Most likely would scrap the raspberry coulis at the bottom

maybe more crumble? i agree with the decision to scrap the coulis. otherwise, i think it looks good.

Looks good except the coulis reminds me of blood. Can you thicken it and make it a solid red color without the streaks?

I like things saucy. I’d keep the coulis but make little heart shapes with it. That’s just me, the more raspberry flavor I can get, the happier I am.

This sounds great & looks great, too. Other than the current coulis claw marks.

I’ll go against the grain and say I like the coulis, slightly thicker and make it more of a paintbrush effect. Those molds however, look like you’re set them in the top of whipped cream lids.. heart shaped molds, more crumble, thicker sauce = very solid dessert.

great kerning on your text, much better than most tbh

Looks nice. The red on the bottom reminded me of a fish spatula for a second.

I would maybe turn the writing by 90 degrees so both people can read it sideways, instead of one upside down (I ‘m assuming the plate is put in the center?) other than that looks great. I also like the recommendation of doing some coulis hearts

Very millennial core, I like it.

I like the coulis, but I think it needs to be a thicker texture to avoid the “blood smear” effect.
