    Mostly, it looks way too brown. But more than that, the plating seems to be nothing more than stacking one food on top of another. The two or three green oil droplets don’t look intentional to me.

    Also, better lighting could make your photographs look much more appealing.

    (not that I, as a casual home cook, could do any better. Just giving my thoughts. Hope they help)

    That risotto is too tight, it just looks like regular cooked rice
