Dinner at one of the old-school, family-owned trattorias I love in Florence (and still unbelievably inexpensive), Sabatino. After several weeks of gorging on salumi and parmagiano in Parma, I needed a change of pace and this hit the spot. Tender, thin-sliced veal in jus, crispy potatoes, and a refreshing and hydrating cucumber salad. PSA: this place is not open on weekends!
