    Nice colour to the duck itself but the skin isn’t rendered and crispy. It’s far too fatty. The potatoes are ok but generally the sides are uninteresting. The duck deserves better.

    I respect that you enjoyed the dish, but without meaning to be overly critical, if you think the fat “melts” now, and it’s still that thick, you will really love it when you render it out properly.

    I’ve only had duck once. It’s pretty expensive, and not as common in Canada. I know it’s very popular in European countries like France, but I’ve never been there
