At first I was pessimistic about this combination, however the balance was fabulous and the presentation is clean.

How would I elevate this dish, a glaze perhaps?

I would use a nice olive oil and a little bit of Maldon as well.

Halve the grapes and add a drizzle of good quality olive oil imo

This is just sliced fruit on a plate with pine nuts sprinkled over it. There’s no intrigue or technique to be found.

Not your best work. There’s no rhythm or structure, it’s poorly cut fruit salad. Additionally, where’s the contrast? Acid from lemon would help, however you could have poached the pears in a sharp white wine, maybe some bitter spices, added some excitement to each bite? You’re other post look good though, so you are definitely on the right track. Keep at it chef!

Why is this here? It’s a children’s snack plate

  6. Probably tastes great but I wouldn’t really call it a salad

Maybe some ricotta and honey? Idk bro that’s a stretch
