Crispy skin salmon, carrot puree, green beans, onions with chili oil, mash with lemon rum cream sauce.
Second time actively plating. I feel like something is off but I'm not exactly sure how to fix it? thoughts on how to improve this? Thank you.

Carrot penis fish dots and onion balls

besides the phallic comments (which is the first thing i thought about too and hilarious) try to do things in odd numbers instead of evens. it’s a general rule and feel free to break it, but something about how the eye works makes it work better
the mash and beans seem pushed off to the side, not sure why the mash got separated to begin with and a couple beans seems a bit ridiculous.
i’d tighten everything and centralize, check proportions with what else you got going on. i like the colors
Things could be cleaned up a bit – like the mash. If you’re gonna make quenelles , make them clean. Would also love to see some darker colors contrast against the lighter / white colors. Maybe get some caramelization on those onions? And consider removing the carrot pieces entirely tbh. 2 tiny pieces of carrot seem superfluous since you already have a substantial puree swoosh. Finally – the greens look like they were cut and plated with no intention. Does it need all that stem?
