We are huge fans of the Lebanese / Levante kitchen and after we have travelled a few of the countries we totally felt in love with the various – often tapas style – foods which are shared with friends and family.
One thing to note: EVERYTHING you see on this table is completely vegan. We are not vegan. But It's worth mentioning because here you can see how exciting vegan kitchen can be.
We have tried a lot of various Lebanese – marrocan – syrians restaurants in Germany and learnt a lot in the last years.
Since then we did cook it many times on our own bringing the different things to a perfect level just how we like it.
Yesterday we made various of those dishes – everything handmade on our own. We had Falafel, Hummus, Fatoush salad, Muhammara and Baba Ganoush.
Muhammad is a mix of blended grilled paprika with walnuts and Baba Ganoush is grilled eggplant with lemon, tahine (sesame paste) and garlic.
We often roll wraps with the Falafel and various vegetables – therefore we are preparing a extra sauce for it – often Berlin Herbsauce (like for Döner Kebap) or like in this case Turkish chilli-capsicum sauce (Aci Sos).
I hope you like it!
We are always excited for this Lebanese dinner nights.

Looks fantastic!
Well done! I would recommend adding some tomatoes to your falafel wrap, the juiciness of the tomatoes will go really well with the other ingredients. Otherwise, I would say you’ve done a great job of preparing everything yourselves!
Question: did you fry the falafel, or bake it? I’d love to make my own, but I don’t like to fry anything at home because we have an open kitchen, so I have to wait to fly back home to indugle in falafel…
This looks so good!
