Is this to big for anything? I hope it's no too woody.

    Nice work! When I get monsters like that I like to clean them and then shred them in a cheese grater to make a kind of carrot slaw. It’s easy and delicious.

    But seriously, it’ll be a little tougher than smaller carrots, but not too different. Anything you might use shredded or boiled carrots for would work.

    I got a bunch like that from a farm stand, I made them into long sticks and pickled them! I also spiralized and made into coodles, and put into the Salad Shooter to make disks for dipping in flavored cottage cheese. It should be great!

    Looks like it might be big enough for carrot steaks! Slice it up, marinade overnight, pop em on the grill, boom carrot steaks

    That’s actually a bit smaller than some of the grocery store carrots here.

    We have carrots over 1kg here very regularly – and I mean trimmed/etc for grocery store sale.

    At the fresh vegetable roadside stands sometimes they also have these crazy like 1-2m long carrots – they are closer to the carrots in North America.

    Edit: As a side note, the actual Asian carrot varieties that get huge are sweeter than NA carrots and the super long ones (manpukuji) are even sweeter.
